MEWP Operators
This is a 1 or 2 day course training people in the safe and competent use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms. This covers:-
• Safe Operational Procedures
• Accident Prevention
• Emergency Descent
• Testing and Inspection
• Employers and Employees legal responsibilities
Experience required - None
Course duration - 1 or 2 days
We can provide operators courses in 1a, 1b, 3a, 3b and PAV. Definitions of these are below.

- Static Vertical (1a, 1a): Vertical personnel platforms (static)
- Static Boom (1b, 1b): Self-propelled booms (outriggers), trailers/push-arounds, vehicle-mounted platforms
- Mobile Vertical (3a, 3a): Scissor lifts, vertical personnel platforms (mobile)
- Mobile Boom (3b, 3b): Self-propelled booms
- Push Around Vertical (PAV): Push around verticals
MEWPs for Managers
MEWPs for Managers is the essential, one-day course for those who plan, supervise and manage the use of mobile elevating work platforms in the workplace.
Loading/Unloading
This course instructs an operator in the correct safety procedures for the loading, unloading and securing of machinery prior to or following transportation by road
Demonstrator
This course trains a demonstrator to familiarise operators with their responsibilities and demonstrate pre-operational and safe operating procedures, and the limitations of MEWPs
